Huawei’s gen-next P-series flagship smartphone, the Huawei P20 is all set to launch in Paris, on the 27th of March. Huawei has officially sent out press invitations stating that they will reveal their new flagship devices at an event in Paris on the 27th of March. The Huawei P20 is the successor to the Huawei P10 which came out in early 2017 and was one of the most popular phones from Huawei last year.
The company usually announces their flagship smartphones at the Mobile World Congress event that takes place during the last week of February. However, it appears that Huawei intends to delay the launch by almost a month. This is perhaps because Huawei doesn’t want to go head to head with Samsung as the Samsung Galaxy S9 devices are likely to launch at that time.
Huawei P20 Specifications: What To Expect
The upcoming Huawei flagship smartphones are likely to come out in three variants – Huawei P20, Huawei P20 Plus and Huawei P20 Lite. The P20 and P20 Plus are both likely to feature large displays. Both these phones are expected to feature the Kirin 970 processor powering them.
One of the biggest highlights of the P20 series of devices is that the high-end variants are likely to feature a jaw-dropping 40MP triple camera setup on the back. The camera sensors are once again expected to be Leica sensors and are likely to offer a 24x zoom! Huawei also intends to pack in a 24MP front camera on the phones.
At the moment these are the only details available about the devices. It is expected that the phones will come out with 6GB/8GB of RAM and a storage variant of up to 256GB is expected. Huawei P20 devices are all about an incredible camera technology which might give some DSLRs a run for their money! Stay tuned with TheGeekHerald for regular updates on the world of technology!
