These two Malaysians hard work paid off when their game became the Apple App Store’s Game of the Day. The game named Warpods was developed by two Malaysians after a year of tireless working.
They received the fruit of their hard work when the game was announced as the Apple App Store’s Game of the Day. Giving it the publicity as well as the response that it was totally worthy of.
Apple App Store listed Warpods as the Game of the Day in Britain, US, Malaysia as well as in South East Asia.

Warpods like all other fun games has a simple premise. It is an arcade-style block breaker though and though. However, it’s the quirky art style that it encases, which sets it apart from the other games. Its gameplay mechanism to helps in making it unique. As it combines both RPG elements and Turn-based strategy.
Warpods is attractive and tempting, easy to pick up and play, but almost impossible to put down. The fun element of the game is further enhanced by characters of the game and then it has a rapid-fire style animation to double the fun.
The game presents a real challenge to the player due to its turn-based RPG element.
The game was developed in Malaysia itself, by Shawn Beck and JT Yean. They are the founders of Woodworks Studion just after finishing their digital animation major. Weydworks Studio is a Malaysian-based game development studio.
Most of the work is done by the founders however they received help some of their friends in story development and writing.
The game is pretty much in demand at the moment and its creators appear to be satisfied with their year’s hard work. Hope they come out with more such interesting and challenging games.
