Attack on Titan Season 4 Release Date; Streaming Platforms To Watch Simulcast

Attack on titan

Attack on Titan Season 4, also known as the anime’s final season, is just a couple of weeks away from its premiere. It is then time for fans, especially those outside Japan, to find the streaming platforms that will bring them new episodes every week.

Most of the biggest streaming platforms already confirm they will offer a simulcast of the anime. This means fans will have options to follow the series through legitimate sites and support it for its final installment.

Where To Watch Attack on Titan Season 4?

Crunchyroll and Funimation were the first ones to announce they will offer the simulcast. However, we should note that their services are only accessible to selected regions only.

A simulcast means the new episodes will be available on these platforms within 24 hours after it is released in Japan TV networks. Funimation is only available in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. While Crunchyroll will stream the new episodes in those territories as well as in Central America, South America, the United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, the Netherlands, and the Nordic countries.

Other major streaming platforms such as AnimeLab (available in Australia and New Zealand) and Wakanim for Europe-based anime viewers have also announced a simulcast service for the imminent season.

Meanwhile, fans based in countries not mentioned above will have to wait for further announcements or do a little research to find an official platform that will release new episodes of season 4. Netflix announced season 4 episodes will be available for its subscribers in select countries in Asia, including the Philippines. However, the streaming giant will not offer a simulcast. It confirmed the first episode will be added to its library every week starting on Dec. 11.

Release Date And Episode Count

Streaming platforms that have the simulcast will have the first episode on Dec 7th. It is also the same release date set for the series in Japan. A new episode will be released every following week.

The exact episode count for the new season has not been announced yet. However, talks are that it could have the same number of installments as the third season. It can be recalled that season 3 was released in two course. The first one with 12 episodes from July to October 2018. And the second half had 10 episodes from April to July 2019.
