Barbra Streisand once again surprised her fans with her choice of song. Instead of playing safe in the shallow waters of music she decided to dive deep and explore the bottomless ocean. Barbra Streisand put forth her least exposed side to the audience as she coupled with Kris Kristofferson to sing ‘Lost Inside You’. The marvelously musical duo honored the London’s Hyde Park on Sunday night with their spectacular performance.
Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson duet gives a “Star is Born” flashback
The duo of Kris Kristofferson and Barbra Streisand set the stage on fire with their opening act of ‘Star is Born’ flashback. They went a step forward as the duo revived ‘Evergreen’ together. However, this is not the first time the duo has sung Evergreen!! It was their creation after-all and therefore deserved the attention it received.

Barbra introduced Kris to the audience as one of his favourite leading men!! People might think that the reunion just came out of blue, however, that is not true. Barbra Streisand had hinted about this back in April. She had posted a photo of herself and Kris, captioning it “Stay Tuned”. Well, it was definitely not a subtle hint!

Streisand performed for an audience comprising nearly 65,000 people. If certain reports are trusted then this is the biggest event that she performed for after the Central Park gig of 1968. The estimated audience that is supposed to have garnered there was 150,000 people.
Barbra stole the show with her melodious voice
Barbra later partnered with Lionel Richie for a duet of “The Way We Were”. Another melody that enthralled the audience making them speechless and numb. Barbra then continued on her pre-planned list and sang “As If We Never Said Goodbyes” which was followed by “Any Place I Hang My Hat is Home”.
She even blessed the audience with Silent Night which turned and twisted until finally melted into “What The World Needs Now”. The night received its closure with the song “The Man That Got Away”. Which was quite fair cause I don’t think of a more immaculate way to call it a day!!
