Yes, the thing we’ve all been waiting for is finally happening. Ben Affleck and Matt Damon will be working together again for The Last Duel and we can’t wait. The duo was last seen together in the 1999 movie Dogma.
They two have been best friends for a very long time and it will be a delight to watch them together on screen again.
Matt and Ben won’t just act in The Last Duel. The two, oscar-winning stars, are also going to co-write and co-produce the movie along with Ridley Scott. Matt Damon and Ben Affleck won an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay. They won it for Good Will Hunting that came out in the year 1997.
The Last Duel will be based on Eric Jager’s book with the same title, The Last Duel: A True Story of Crime, Scandal, and Trial by Combat. It is about the judicial duel method that was prevalent in France in the 1300s.
It was more specifically about a duel between Norman knight Jean de Carrouges and squire Jacques Le Gris. Jean de Carrouges accused Jacques Le Gris of raping his wife and in turn challenges him for a duel.
THIS IS NOT A DRILL.
MATT DAMON and BEN AFFLECK are REUNITING to WRITE A SCRIPT TOGETHER along with NICOLE HOLOFCENER that THEY WILL STAR IN that RIDLEY SCOTT WILL DIRECT.
Sounds amazing, right?

Ben Affleck and Matt Damon will be playing best friends in the movie too. They two have started working on the movie too. Matt Damon was seen leaving Ben Affleck’s house in L.A. on Sunday. He was carrying a copy of the book in his hands.
It sure will be one hell of a movie and we’re sure Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are only going to add all the extra stars to it. They’ve been amazing actors and even better writers so we know it’s gonna be good. We should just sit back and relax while they create magic on screen yet again.
