Black Panther 2 will be without Killmonger and Fury: Marvel’s Kevin Feige

Marvel Studios President, Kevin Feige, recently confirmed that fans might not have the delight of watching Michael B. Jordan and Samuel L. Jackson in the upcoming in-progress Black Panther 2. No more Killmonger and Fury for us in the sequel? Sigh.

Black Panther 2 rumours, cast and plot

There had been a few rumours around the block about the return of Michael B. Jordan’s character of Erik Killmonger in Black Panther 2. Feige addressed them saying that this may or most likely may not be true. We don’t know anything yet as the director and writer Ryan Coogler hasn’t written the movie yet.

“The honest answer to that is that is pure rumor and speculation, because Mr. Coogler is just only in recent weeks sitting down at his keyboard and beginning to outline the movie. It’s early, so nothing is set yet in any way that far”

In our honest opinions, as much as we’d like to see Killmonger return, there’s a chance he might not as he very clearly died by getting stabbed in the chest with a vibranium spear in the first Black Panther movie.

Samuel L. Jackson, who plays Nick Fury the director of S.H.I.E.L.D, once discussed this on an interview with Ellen DeGeneres that Nick Fury may end up in Wakanda. Though he has so far been the only person to suggest this, Feige did confirm that Marvel Studios plan on casting him several movies in 2019.

we can all see that coming true with Nick Fury appearing in ‘Captain Marvel’, ‘Avengers: Endgame‘ and now ‘Spiderman: Far From Home‘ since the beginning of this year.

With so much being talked about Black Panther 2 even before the movie is written, we’re sure it’s gonna be another great success much like its successor Black Panther. The sequel is most likely to be released by the first half of 2021.
