Earlier, Igarashi announced on the game site as the DLCs are open to all as an exclusive for the Kickstarter campaign. However, the players are having an opportunity to fight with Igarashi and earn the powerful Swordwhip weapon.

The gaming franchise also made a clear decision about the predicted earnings and especially about piracy. Igarashi also added that in order to lower anti-consumer practices and make DLC as safe and legitimate, the game will out for free. As a year ago, about 30,000 backers agreed with the feelings for DLC.

Hopefully, all the backers are destined to get the DLC as free. But, for the premium content, the price is fixed at 9.99 US dollars.

Release date and exclusive contents

Over this discussion, some fans are angry with the premium contents. As the franchise made backers exclusive content which includes the Iga Boss and the Swordwhip that are available for players. Bloodstained became a live project in 2015 as a Kickstarter project under the guidance of Castlevania producer, Igarashi. From that, it earned around 5.5 US million dollars however the record was broken by Shenmue after 3 months.

The game is scheduled to launch on June 18 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox. In addition, the launch is halted till June 25 on Nintendo Switch for now.
