We are totally hopeful that, the BMW Evolution scooter will be getting an elder brother in coming months or certainly by the end of this year. It might be called the BMW DC Roadster.
The BMW Motorrad is already having an electric scooter and they are wishing for something more challenging. It is going to be a capable one and an evolved one. It was an outstanding vehicle. But considering in mind the full-fledged bikes, Zero motorcycles still occupy most of the market. While we are eagerly waiting for Harley-Davidson to release its own set of Electric Vehicle.
But considering the ideas going by the German motorcycle makers are still on road to going full-size. We are hoping that the BMW Motorrad DC Roadster concept will be a stepping stone for the automobile giant.
The BMW DC Roadster was released at BMW’s NextGen event held in Munich, Germany. It takes the classic design of the company’s two-cylinder boxer engine which will be accompanied with a battery inside.

BMW has taken the design using outcoming elements of the engine. It is also using the discussed design as a cooling feature for the roadster concept. The protruding designs actually move back and forth if a bike is moving to provide cooling to the battery. To make the bike lighter in weight it is built using carbon fibre and aluminium while the LED lighting system is making the roadster standout.

Hopefully that the Vision DC Roadster will make its way to the showrooms in the near future. A BMW motorcycle with the supplementation of electric torque is certainly an interesting prospect that we have waited for quite a long time now. Check out The Geek Herald for more updates.
