It seems like there won’t be any excuse to keep both the Borderlands game far from each other. As the Borderlands 3 is going to be released a little after a few months. A premature reveal confirms that Borderlands 2 DLC is expected to be released this June. This DLC will include Commander Lilith as prior and the fight for the sanctuary to the second list of DLC.
Borderlands 2 freebie is leaked with two new DLC
However, these details got confirmed from a steam profile which featured the title along with images. While the DLCs are not yet confirmed or live they tend to cover an important aspect. This details from the Borderlands 2 DLC are going to be released on June 9, the day Xbox holds a press conference at E3.

However, this update about the DLC isn’t the first time. While some days earlier an anonymous source revealed that Gearbox is planning to cover a free DLC for Borderlands 2. Thus, another rumour claimed that the DLC will build a bridge between the stories of both the games. And now the official name of the DLCs are confirmed for a part of E3 2019.
Some more days into the E3 to reveal free DLC
By giving free DLCs the company wants to keep the players to stick to the old game. Thus, a more exciting story holds up with the games coming forth. Importantly, giving up free DLC is always a clever idea. Through which it will be an extra bonus point for the Gearbox in many other ways. And it’s important that the new contents are a freebie which dives into Borderlands 2. Moreover, the game is a few years old and it needs greater gameplay and exclusive experience.
And for more confirmation about the freebie, fans need to wait till June 9. Thus, according to the Steam profile leak, both DLCs are a part of the Borderlands 2 free content. The official Borderlands also announced a bundle of the handsome pack and is free for PS4 plus.
Two great games, one handsome package. Borderlands: The Handsome Collection is now free on PS4 with an active PlayStation Plus membership. Includes Borderlands 2, The Pre-Sequel, and all add-on content for both games.
