Borderlands 3, the game thousands of people have been waiting for so desperately, has hit a roadblock. And it’s coming to the launcher everyone probably hates a.k.a. the Epic Store.
Honestly, the Epic Store isn’t really bad. The fact that the publisher/developer tends to keep games exclusive to the launcher makes gamers hate it. Metro Exodus is a prime example of why Steam users and everyone else hates Epic so much.
The Fortnite publisher is well known in the gaming community for its lack of features and bi-weekly giveaway of well-known titles. However, the company does give developers a bigger cut of the overall revenue generated by the sale back to the developers.
What happened to Borderlands 3?
If you happen to be one of the people who already bought the game, there is some bad news for you. Unlike other games, Borderlands 3 won’t be available for download before the release date. Now people have to wait until the midnight of the launch date to get their hands on it.
Epic’s head, Tim Sweeney told eager fans on Twitter that they won’t be able to provide the support to preload the upcoming Borderlands installment within the said timeframe. The good news? The feature will be rolling out soon.
