Well, there’s certainly a possibility for Bryan Cranston’s Walter White to rejoin the cast. This could be probably in some flashbacks or visions, as we know White is no longer alive. This is all a speculation, as nothing has been confirmed yet.  In fact, when asked, he acted all surprised and only said that he would absolutely love to reprise his role.

Speaking on the Breaking Bad to be shaped into a movie, recently on The Dan Patrick Show, he said: “It’s a great story and there are a lot of people who felt that they wanted to see some kind of completion to some of these story-lines that were left open.

He added: “I don’t know if there’s an appearance — flashbacks, flash-forwards — but I’m excited about it because it’s Breaking Bad and it was the greatest professional period of my life and I can’t wait to see all those people again, even if I just come by to visit.”

Reports about which other characters are to return is also very vague at this moment. Although it is almost certain that Jesse’s mates Badger (Matt L Jones) and Skinny Pete (Charles Baker) will return, as well as Walter Jr (RJ Mitte), Marie Schrader (Betsy Brandt) and Skylar White (Anna Gunn) may also possibly return.

There are reports that series Breaking bad executive producers Mark Johnson and Melissa Bernstein, who worked with Gilligan on the series, are also back on board.

Breaking Bad Movie Plot

It will not be wrong to assume that the story will pick up from where it ended, and will be taken forward from there. There are various possible plot doing the rounds in different reports.

As per the Albuquerque Journal,  the Breaking Bad movie currently being called Greenbrier “tracks the escape of a kidnapped man and his quest for freedom”.

While Slash Film claims to have “confirmed that the kidnapped man is Jesse Pinkman”, and the tale will follow his “escape from Albuquerque following the bloody events of the series finale”.

Recallling from the series, the last time we saw Jesse, he jumps off in a car and tears through a new-Nazis fence. If the movie plots is around jesse being kidnapped, its time we find out what he has been upto.

Gilligan had spoken to GQ in 2013, about what might have happened to Jesse. Gilligan said: “My personal feeling is that he got away. But the most likely thing, as negative as this sounds, is that they’re going to find this kid’s fingerprints all over this lab and they’re going to find him within a day or a week or a month. And he’s still going to be on the hook for the murder of two federal agents…But yeah, even though that’s the most likely outcome, the way I see it is that he got away and got to Alaska, changed his name, and had a new life. You want that for the kid. He deserves it.”

Well, it looks like soon we are about to find out.
