The developers at the infinity ward have made an announcement about the release of a new game. The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare which will be a reboot of the long-running subseries.
Unlike the Call of Duty: Black ops 4, the game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will have a single player campaign. This new game is not a sequel to the CoD: Modern Warfare 3 which was released in 2011. The game will be having a new storyline which will have some of the familiar characters.
The game’s campaign mode will allow the players will get two parts in the game. In the first part, the players will be playing as a Tier 1 operator. In the second part, the players will be playing as a rebel.
The previous games of the franchise have moved more to space, time travelling and other science-fiction stuff. However, some players were not satisfied with this.
I can confirm this is true, and that it's hilarious. The first one was "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" so obviously the fourth one is "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare." Video games are absurd https://t.co/Ghb1m2srC4
