Besides, various ceremonies and events were held in North Texas to honour the US service members. The Dallas Fort Worth National Ceremony was held at 11 am. In the ceremony, the Finefrock family of Plano graced the event by walking past huge rows of white headstones.
Jeremy Finefrock along with his five kids walked silently to honour the war heroes. Each kid carried a small bag full of pennies. They pulled a penny from their bag to keep it on the top of the arched stone. Moreover, they also read each name engraved on the headstone and gave respect to our heroes.
Only a few people witnessed this jaw-dropping moment.
A few days ago, a storm with torrential rain & wind gusts hit America’s most hallowed grounds. While others ran for cover, The Old Guard endured. Bound by honor, this Sentinel continued to place flags & honor the fallen. pic.twitter.com/KA5PBOav7q
