DJ Snake Hints a Collaboration with Blackpink

Netizens are gonna take a sigh of relief after the informal announcement of DJ snake and Blackpink collaboration. The latest move of DJ Snake has left fans with bits of uncertainity. DJ Snake replied with a yes on question of working with Blackpink during his mini Q&A session on Instagram.

The well known DJ hosted a Q&A session on Instagram on May 14 where a fan asked him about the possibility of working with Blackpink. To which he answered with a short yet exciting “yes”.

The speculations of their collaboration were on ground since September 2018.
DJ snake posted a message on social media about the Korean pop girls group.
After months of hearsays, the French DJ finally hinted for a song with the girl band.

It is still unknown whether the yes was hypothetical or a public confirmation to the project. DJ snake is currently busy with his upcoming collaboration with Eptic for the song Southside. While the Blackpink girls are working on their solos’ to release this year.

Snake attended their world tour, ‘In Your Area’ back in mid- April in Los Angeles. He posted a picture with the k-girls while making a ‘shhh’ as he was instructing the girls not to tell the upcoming secret. It could be a sign of relevance for the fans.

Furthermore, it has been revealed that korean singer CL was the original singer of JB and Snake’s 2016 hit song, Let Me Love You. Since, both CL and Blackpink are working under YG Entertainment, the collaboration seems to be possible.
