Doctor Strange and Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlett Witch in MCU are the two characters associated with magic and mindbending realities. Fans of the Marvel movie series always wanted to see them together and Disney actually made that happen when they announced that Elizabeth Olson will star in the Doctor Strange sequel: Multiverse of Madness, along with Benedict Cumberbatch.
Also, the arrival of the WandaVision TV series on Disney plus has been rumored to link directly into Doctor Strange 2. If we put 2 and 2 together, Doctor Strange is making an appearance at the end of WandaVision finale and it may tie directly into his movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Doctor Strange will Break out Wanda from the Mental Prison
WandaVision TV show on Disney plus will have a premise where Wanda creates an alternate reality in which she lives with Vision happily. As per the footage that was shown in D23 and comic con, WandaVision looks like a standard sitcom but things start to take a dark turn very soon. As per some of the theories, Wanda starts to bend many realities into one and every reality is threatened.

It is when Doctor Strange comes to rescue in the final episode and helps Wanda to make everything right. Disney plus insiders are saying that Benedict Cumberbatch will be on the sets for WandaVision principal photography along with Elizabeth Olson and Paul Bettany to shoot his cameo appearance.
WandaVision Finale will lead to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is already confirmed to have Wanda in am an important role which further confirms that WandaVision will end on kind of a cliffhanger that will resolve in the Doctor Strange sequel movie. While the tactic will gain more viewers for both Disney plus and Doctor Strange 2 in theaters, there are some fans who won’t like it.
But Kevin Fiege and Scott Derrickson have assured fans that despite Disney+ shows being directly connected with the movies, the storyline will work even separately. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will release on May 5, 2021, and trailer will be out in the late 2020s.
