Elon Musk talks about Falcon Heavy
In the year 2017, Elon Reeve Musk, the CEO and head designer of SpaceX spoke about Falcon Heavy rocket. He said that the Big Falcon rocket could possibly carry passengers from one city to another in an hour. The cities need not have to be in the same country.

On Wednesday, this topic re-surfaced during a question-answer round with people. While replying to people’s query about the Falcon Heavy rocket he explained what a ride in the rocket will feel like. According to him it would be surreal, like slipping past the bonds of Earth and going on a Disney Space Mountain ride.
How the conversation about a ride on Falcon began
Initially Elon Musk was replying to a question which asked about the number of passengers Falcon rocket can hold. To this Musk replied with an estimated answer of 100. However the actual capacity of Falcon for short trips is nearly 1000 people per trip.
~1000, as all seats would be “coach” & no toilets, pilot area or food galley needed. Most flights would only be 15 to 20 mins. It’s basically an ICBM traveling at Mach 25 that lands.

It is so for the people aboard would not need private compartments or any cabin space. This answer lead to another new chain of questions. Even the question of how many people can travel in it, for an Earth-to-Earth trip came up.
The question was quiet similar to one that Elon had answered in the year 2017. Though that was related to travelling from city-to-city. The answer to this if stated precisely was that one could travel to any-place on Earth in an hour.
About 100, assuming people want cabins. Pressurized volume is similar to A380. Could take a lot more on shorter trips.

Some-one even asked him if one could move about or not during the flight. To this Elon replied saying that would not be prudent. A restrain mechanism would have to be forced on all just like the one in the Space Ride Roller coaster of Disney.
That would be unwise. Probably needs a restraint mechanism like Disney’s Space Mountain roller coaster. Would feel similar to Space Mountain in a lot of ways, but you’d exit on another continent.

Well many people have got their hopes up. Maybe one day Falcon will give them a ride around the Earth.
