Netflix has finally let out the first images of Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman. The movie features the likes of legendary actors Joe Pesci, Al Pacino, and Robert De Niro.

The film will open in 57th film festival in New York in September. The film is gathering limelight not because it’s featuring Al Pacino in Scorsese’s cast. The main reason is Scorsese’s collaborator Joe Pesci returning to acting.

A mob hitman who is declared to indulge in death of Teamsters boss Jimmy Hoffa who is played by Pacino. But being a Scorsese’s movie it’s much more than that.

Filmmaker Kent Jones has very high hopes with the Irishman. He regards the movie as work of masters, made with the guidance of the art of cinema. This is something which we see very seldom in a lifetime, and it plays out at a level of delicacy, and human intimacy truly stuns everyone.

As per the New York film festival description, The film is more about loyalty and friendship between men who commit acts and turn money against each other.

Netflix previously announces about film releasing in Autumn, but as of now, The Irishman will be streaming on Netflix in the latter part of this year. It’s an incredible honor that film will be releasing on the opening night of the New York film festival.
