Fujifilm, a Japanese photography company launched its brand new GFX 100. The module was showcased in the last fall and now it’s available to purchase. The Fujifilm GFX 100 is mounted with hybrid autofocus along with 3.76 million phases detect pixels.

The camera features a BSI-CMOS sensor covering 102 million pixels. It gets power from its quad-core X processor along with ISO marking from 100 to 12,800. According to Fujifilm, the image stabilization can hold shakes up to 5.5 stops. Moreover, the advanced sensor is mounted on a spring which reduces the shutter shock.
It is also suspected that Fuji uses the Sony made IMX 461 as its sensor. Therefore, the advantage it avails by improving the low light and even the ISO is also corrected.
Moreover, the body can withstand the durability and the size is comparatively like professional DSLRs. Other features include the weight with 1.4kg and can cover 800 shots with two NP batteries. The GFX 100 has two card slot with USB 3.2, an external mic, wired remote and HDMI support.
In addition, the LCD panel is of 3.2 inches pictured with 3.2 million dots. However, the OLED EVF is covered with 5.76 million dots which can be removed and tilted. Other than touchscreen LCD, it has two OLED displays – one at the top and the other below the LCD to configure camera settings and other features.

The most exciting feature is its phase detect and the improved AF speeds. The AF speed is 210 per cent faster than its predecessor GFX 50 with improved autofocus. Subsequently, the video capabilities are also increased which can capture 4K videos at 400 Mbps.
However, the choices for video recording can be done with H.265 and H.264 codecs. The new Fujifilm GFX 100 also backed up by Eterna Film simulation mode which can give an output of 10 bit per 4:2:2 F-log video. This feature can be completed with the help of an external recorder.
