Game of Thrones creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have recently formed a contract with Netflix. As per the reports, they signed to produce, write and direct new movies and series on the streaming giant.
After months of talk about choosing one streaming platform between, Disney, Amazon, and Netflix, they decided to choose Netflix. David Benioff and D.B. Weiss signs a contract with Netflix
Last month, it became a bidding war between, Netflix, Amazon and Disney. Finally, the Game of Thrones creators decided to go with Netflix. However, this doesn’t mean they will only work for them. Weiss and Benioff have already made a commitment to Disney for creating Star Wars film.
And they did the right thing by choosing Netflix! Critics and fans have highly praised the platform for the originals it produces. Moreover, when it comes to the biggest movies and tv shows, no other streaming service has the kind of international reach as Netflix.

Also, no other platform can cross tens of millions of viewers within a week or months. Moreover, Ted Sarandos, Netflix’s chief content officer states that they can’t wait to see Benioff and Weiss’s imaginations and creativity in their Netflix shows and films.

However, HBO hasn’t commented on the departure of D.B. Weiss and David Benioff. But sources reveal that creators have no leftover project in production at HBO. So this means the controversial alt-history project called Confederate won’t be produced on HBO.
