Know what this prequel holds for us
Martin told Entertainment Weekly previously that this series will be a lot different from GoT. He said
There’s no King’s Landing. There’s no Iron Throne. There are no Targaryens — Valyria has hardly begun to rise yet with its dragons and the great empire that it built. We’re dealing with a different and older world and hopefully that will be part of the fun of the series.”

No official announcement about the name of the Game of Thrones prequel has been made. However, rumours are afloat saying that this spin-off of GoT might be baptized as The Long Night. The Long Night was also the title of the third episode of Game of Thrones third episode of the final season.
This is not the only similarity between the prequel and the final season. The filming of the prequel is supposed to be taking place in Northern Ireland. That place also served as the location for GoT’s Final season. The show might be aired in late 2020 or in the spring of 2021.
