Game of Thrones Prequel: What to Expect?

The writer of the prequel(The Long Night) is George RR Martin and he has generously informed the masses about what they should expect. The show will hold none of the Game of Thrones characters and its focus will solely remain on their ancestors! This show will not feature King’s Landing, or the Iron Throne as it is based a millennium before the events of GoT.

According to a HBO press release, the series “chronicles the world’s descent from the golden Age of Heroes into its darkest hour. From the horrifying secrets of Westeros’s history to the true origin of the White Walkers, the mysteries of the East to the Starks of legend, only one thing is for sure: it’s not the story we think we know.” Even though no release date has been confirmed yet Game of Thrones prequel is likely to start off by late-2020.
