Talking about the release of Half-Life 3 at this point of time is actually a joke. It has actually been a cause of misery for many gamers over the years now. Nevertheless, the head of the Valve, Gabe Newell, has given us a few hints about the highly awaited successor of the popular game at recent party event Valve’s. The index is presently the company’s VR headset.
Can we expect good news:
During a conversation at the party, Gabe stated that:
In our time with Valve, we have had a lot of achievements talking about. The index is another one of those feathers in the milestones which is quite a significant breakthrough in the field.
He also told that milestones are not the end of anything. They are actually the beginning of times. Just like Half-Life went on its successor to Half-Life 2, Source led to Source 2 and Artifact has been the reason because of which we were able to do Underlords.
So, on some days may be number 2 will lead us to a shiny integer. Keeping all the jokes aside, Valve has recently jumped back to making games again. So this is the perfect time to release Half-Life 3. Or it can also be a case that they might be holding it back for PS5. Or it can also be a case that it is all our imagination and it would not release.
Game fever could be on:
Taking it simultaneously, Gearbox’s Randy Pitchford also noted that Borderlands 3 would also release quicker if Half-Life 3 is announced. Borderlands 3 is expected to be out by September, So who knows if there might be a hoax behind the Pitchford claims. We are more likely this is not the case. It can be seen as a case that Pitchford was just talking as a fan.
It has actually become a joke to talk about Half-Life 3 so any talk about the game is actually part of the fun. But if it actually releases then all the fun will end into joy.
