Harry Potter and the Cursed Child: Storyline and insight
— BroadwayWorld (@BroadwayWorld) July 15, 2019
The storyline of the new Potter film continues on the original track. Starting exactly were the last film ended. However, it takes a leap of 19 years. The story revolves around the life of the new generation basically Albus Potter, Rose Weasley and Scorpius Malfoy.
The good and now-slightly-old Harry Potter works as an employee for the Ministry of Magic. One of the best new introduction of the film is the concept of Time Travel. Theodore Nott, invented Time Turner, which was kept under the protection of Harry. Enveloped by various types of spells, books and riddles the Time Turner, turns the peace of the place up-side down.
Trouble begins when Albus rebels against his father and messes with the device, wreaking unintentional havoc. The frequent visits of alternative reality keeps viewers on their toes, never allowing them to relax.
Shocking truth about the play!
The play is originally written by Jack Throne, however JK Rowling did oversee the script and it is currently running in Broadway, London. Yes, another major information it is a play and not a film, and most probably it will stay that way. So if you are planning to wait for the releases of its film version then sorry to burst your bubble but that’s not happening!! At least not now.
Another shocking fact about the play is the friendly relationship between sworn-enemy parents, children Albus and Scorpius. Both dear friends are in the final year of Hogwarts in the play. However, there might be more of a connection between the two than just friendship. For there is a rumor that Scorpius is Voldermort’s son!!!
