A world champion in Judo, a versatile actor Joe Taslim will handle the most anticipated role in Mortal Kombat movie. Mortal Kombat movies always have three major characters, The Scorpion, Sub-Zero and Shang Tsung.

With Joe Taslim playing the legendary character ‘Sub-Zero’ fans are already excited for the film. Also, fans now are anticipating what other characters could also be included in the movie.

With Mortal Kombat being a reboot to the film Mortal Kombat (1995), it will hopefully be better visually. ‘James Wan’ is set to direct it and the movie director is ‘Simon McQuoid’.

Moreover, movies are quickly filling up the dates till 2021 there is already clash for the spot between Warner Bros. Mortal Kombat and Disney’s Masters of the Universe.

However, hey will have to wait, as the movie release is in 2021. Moreover, this movie will begin shooting in Australia later this year. The previous adaptation grossed pretty much that’s why there was a sequel for the same namely ‘Mortal Kombat: Annihilation’.

Warner Bros acquired Mortal Kombat through buying Midway Games in 2009. Midway Games launched Mortal Kombat in 1992. The basic story developed by Midway Games was regarding a monk names ‘Liu Kang’ faces off against Evil Sorcerors and Emperors and tries to save the world from them. This later evolved into a Fantasy-Horror-Fighting Game with a huge fan base.
