George Clooney will portray a lonely scientist from the Arctic, Augustine in the series. He tries to connect with the crew of Aether spacecraft who are striving hard to make their way back on Earth. This will be Clooney’s first project with Netflix.

When Clooney was asked about his next Netflix’s project, he said,

Grant and I couldn’t be more excited to be involved with this incredible project. Mark is a writer we’ve long admired and his script is haunting. We’re thrilled to be working with our friends at Netflix as well.

The Project might not be titled “Good Morning, Midnight”

Netflix cleared that this project might not necessarily be titled as “Good Morning, Midnight” and it is yet to be titled. According to a Netflix press release, Mark L. Smith has adapted this screenplay. Netflix’s head Scott Stuber even said,

Having known and worked with George for over two decades, I can’t think of anyone better to bring this amazing story to life. The book is powerful and moving, and Mark’s adaptation is beautifully written. At its core, this is a story about human nature, and one that I know our global audiences will fall in love with, just like I did when I read it.

Thus, Netflix’s project is surely going to be exciting. Especially, the people who have an interest in watching sci-films are going to love it.
