Netlfix Anime series based on Norse Mythology ropes in Zack Snyder

There is a subtle revolution going on. People are shifting more towards Anime nowadays, Netflix has already sensed that. Zack Snyder is up for the task of creating a new Anime Series.

Zack Snyder is already known for his directions in movies which are considered Legendary. His masterpiece ‘Watchmen’ was highly appreciated by comic and movie fanatics. However, there was a lot of controversy on his last movie ‘Justice League’ as he was removed from the project.

Snyder has already worked on the robust movie ‘300’ so his capabilities are not to be judged. This upcoming Anime is based upon Norse mythology. The storyboard artist who is included to run this Anime is ‘Jay Oliva’.

Jay’s work is already very much appreciated in the community and he has worked on some masterpieces like Deadpool, Thor: Ragnarok and Wonder Woman. Jay and Zack are friends and they have already worked on movies like Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice and 300.

John Derderian who is the head of Anime department in Netflix commented on taking in Zack and Jay.

“Zack Snyder’s innovation in visual storytelling has pushed the industry forward and established him as one of the most distinctive filmmakers of his generation,”

Moreover, Zack is currently busy with another Netflix’s movie, ‘Army of the Dead’. Jay is also working on another Anime called ‘Trese’. Trese will draw inspiration from a Filipino comic of the same name.

Zack’s most work after Man of Steel is considered very controversial. Fans are divided into two halves, one in support and others not-so-in-support. With DC fans still asking for a Snyder cut of the Justice League movie released in 2017. Zack still teases fans by uploading various images of the Snyder Cut on ‘VERO’.
