Red Magic 3 from Nubia is the future of gaming smartphones


Samsung, OnePlus, Huawei, Google, have these devices bored you? Maybe you’re even bored by the devices from the OnePlus lineup and are hoping to try something different this time around.

If you’re somebody who thinks like above, you should probably wait for a few more weeks before finalizing your next smartphone purchase.

Nubia Red Magic has just come forward with its new most attempt at grabbing the smartphone market that deals with gamers. They won’t just be keeping the phone in China this time around and are expanding to global markets like the US and Canada.

Why a gaming smartphone?

Almost all flagship devices can be very well used to play games but there’s definitely a different segment of gaming smartphones. They pose an appeal to a very specific kind of smartphone gamer.

The specs are important for these kinds of people but they are not enough. They want their phones to have all the hoopla that can be had like class-leading cooling tech, more controls for gaming and LED lights that are RGB.

What is so great about the Red Magic?

The Red Magic is going to come with the industry’s first liquid cooling tech which also encompasses a turbo fan inside the phone. Yes, you heard it right, it’s got a fan inside like you would in your gaming computer. It would be really interesting to open this phone up and see how it looks beneath all that.

The phone is also equipped with capacitive shoulder triggers. They can be mapped to specific functions which can be highly usable and convenient while gaming.

The Red Magic also comes loaded with top of the line specs like a Snapdragon 855 processor. It also comes with 12GB of class-leading ram. It will come in several storage variants going up to 256GB. A massive 5,000 mAh battery powers the red magic. It also comes with a  6.65-inch Full HD+HDR AMOLED display.

The Red Magic 3 will be available to purchase globally starting May 27.
