Oppo flaunts the "waterfall screen" phone with extremely curved edges

Tech giant, Oppo is gearing up for bringing their next flagship smartphones with unique technology. They have hinted at another unique feature that might roll out in their next flagship. Oppo has released images of its next amazing feature called waterfall screen.

The images of the waterfall screen phone were released by the company VP, Brian Shen on his Weibo profile. Within a few minutes, the bloggers and the tech-lovers started posting about the fantastic looking feature on their social media platforms.

What’s new?

However, Oppo has released their models with a curved screen like Find X. The released photos show how the makers have taken the same idea to the next level with this exciting feature.

The waterfall screen extends the screen panel to about 88 degrees. This gives an approximate 100% screen-to-body ratio. The new display of the phone looks narrower than that of Find X. But unfortunately, we don’t get to see the back of the phone.

However, there is no such reliable comment about the phone’s release date. But, it is expected to release next year. This will mark as another exciting, unique feature by Oppo. And, might also follow the development of their under-display camera.

Recently, the Dongguan-based manufacturer, Oppo announced their next unique-camera, called under-screen camera. They announced it during MWC Shanghai 2019. The Oppo turned the definition of a camera. As a camera captures when the light is exposed to the lens.

But, their under-display camera is an exception. Oppo has done this by targetting the hindrances that could affect the camera. And further, they have used HDR algorithm to increase the brightness and produce better quality images.

Now, it will be exciting to see what other specs and features that Oppo will announce next in their latest upcoming flagship smartphone.
