Scott McTominay, the Manchester United midfielder joins Messi and Miralem Pjanic, the Juventus star and Bayern Munich winger Serge Gnabry on the cover of PES 2020 cover. The Manchester United midfielder made only 16 appearances but stars alongside five-time Ballon d’Or winner. Mctominay is aged 22 and appearing on the cover alongside with such stars is a big feat.
McTominay- the new addition to PES 2020 cover
Philippe Coutinho, who starred in the 2019 edition of PES, has no signs on the latest cover. The Barcelona midfielder has found difficult to find his feet at Camp Nou after his $178M transfer move from Liverpool.
He might part away from La-Liga. And now he has also been out of the PES cover; same is the case with Luis Suarez who was on 2018 edition. Scott McTominay is the new addition to the list.

However, The Scottish international has shown promise in his short span at the United. But he is yet to be a regular starter in the team. Scott made his premier league debut in May 2017 but has featured in less than half of Red Devil’s matches through the last two campaigns.
McTominay a surprise in Devils side
He was able to find the nets against Wolves and Huddersfield at the back end when United slumped to 6th position finish in the league. The midfielder has big ambitions and wants to become a regular box to box player for Ole’s side.
With United manager Solskjaer deciding to offer more authority to the young guns and academy graduates in the squad. McTominay has been expected by many to play a significant role in 2019-20.
The departure of Ander Herrera to Paris Saint Germain on a free transfer has left a room in midfield for the Reds while Paul Pogba continues to be in talks with a move away from Reds with interest from Real Madrid.
Former Red Devils midfielder Schweinsteiger has asked the management to have players of full commitment. With fewer options available, Scott can be a regular starter, you never know. All these are just expectations, and everything remains unanswered.
