Cassius: Philippe Zdar’s history
Zdar and Hubert started working together in the year 1988. They produced albums for MC Solaar, who is a French hip-hop artist. Their first project together was La Funk Mob in the year 1991 and from the very next year they started experimenting with electronic sounds.
The year 1996 brought with itself the very first self-released house music track of Zdar and Hubert, which was named as “Foxxy”.
Absolutely heartbroken over the news of Philippe Zdar’s death. We just lost such an incredible talent.
So much music that means so much to me had his handprints all over it. Thank you for all you gave to us 💔
