Along with pocket-friendly smartphones, Xiaomi is launching its first-ever Redmi-brand laptop. The new RedmiBook 14 unveiled in Beijing, China with the pre-booking starting from June 1. However, there is no news about the global sale and price of the new RedmiBook 14. Though, the sale of the laptops will kick from June 11.

RedmiBook 14 base features and price
The new RedmiBook 14 is having approximately 14 inches display is powered with i7 eighth generation Intel chipset. Xiaomi also adjusted the graphics card with Nvidia Geforce MX250. In addition, a DTS audio support is installed along with a cooling system and unlock 2.0 feature.

As the laptop is available in China, the price is tagged at CNY 3999 for the base model. The base model carries 256GB SSD storage and i5 processor from Intel. Moreover, the 512GB SSD storage variant is priced at CNY 4299. RedmiBook 14 also has a top end variant which comes with Intel i7 eighth generation and bucked up with 512GB SSD. This top-end variant is 700 more from the i5 generation priced at CNY 4999.

The latest model is 14 inches with ultra HD display and powered by Intel processors. However, the i7 processors are initiated with 8GB of RAM and carry around 512GB of SSD. As per new technologies, the laptop is also installed with new cooling features to disperse immense heat. Moreover, the intake vent is having a maximum area of 2530mm.

Though, with sleek display design, the keyboard is of standard size. The keys are well stacked with each key covering a distance of 1.3mm in length and 1.9mm in width. In addition, the touchpad also supports multi-touch gestures. Talking about the battery capacity, the company claims, with a single charge the laptop sustains about 10 hours.
Additionally, it also features unlock 2.0 which enables the laptop to wake up from sleep mode within 1.2 seconds. It also comes with preloaded Microsoft student edition office. And the new laptop weighs around 1.5 kg with a minimum thickness of 17.95mm. Check out The Geek Herald for more updates.
