People often consider acting as an ideal job. Thinking all they have to do is act for a few hours and it must be fun. However, what people fail to understand is that acting is one of the most demanding professionals. Robert Pattinson tightly-packed schedule has once again proved it.
The Batman hero, Robert Pattinson leaves a film due to scheduling conflicts
According to IndieWire, the Batman star Robert Pattinson is dropping out from one of his upcoming projects due to scheduling conflicts. Robert Pattinson will no longer make an appearance in the sequel of The Souvenir which is named as Tenet.
The filming of the sequel was supposed to start from next month. However, because of a tightly-packed schedule Pattinson despite his wish could not do the film. Robert’s team members told this to IndieWire. They said
Despite Rob’s strong desire to do the film, scheduling proved impossible but he very much looks forward to working with Joanna on something down the line,”
The Souvenir was loved by viewers. It even won the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Festival held this year and this made A24 and Hogg rush up for a sequel. Thought quite little is known about Tenet besides the cast.
The Souvenir’s sequel Tenet won’t be started by Batman actor
The film is supposed to be starred by Pattinson (which is not happening in the light of recent events), Dimple Kapadia, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Debicki and many more. John David Washington, Clemence Poesy and Michael Caine are also a part of the film.
Well, Pattinson is soon going to be busy with Matt Reeves’ The Batman. If certain reports are to be believed then the pre-production of the film will start this summer. At least there is something clear about Batman’s storyline, that it’s not an adaptation from Year One.
Matt Reeves has previously confirmed that this Batman tale is definitely not an adaptation from Year One storyline. He even mentioned that the story will focus on Caped Crusader’s skillset. Matt Reeves had said
Year One is one of the many comic books that I love. We are definitely not doing Year One,”
So it looks like Tenet will be one film was Pattinson won’t make an appearance. However, Batman is still there to cheer up his fans all around the globe.
