Samsung hasn’t replied officially after the users filed the reports. Moreover, users have noticed a slight movement and camera crash while using Night Mode. However, the new update has only affected Samsung Note 9 and Galaxy S9 users after the June update.

One week before, Samsung released a new security update to the Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy S9 series. The new software update added new features like the inclusion of a dedicated Night mode in the camera app, and other camera improvements.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy S9 user concerns

Samsung S9 users have claimed that their devices are failing to save the shot. It is occurring when there is any motion detected while using the night mode feature. They voiced their concerns on Sammobile forums, but even the staff reported that the same thing was reported by Galaxy Note 9 users.

After the June update, the bug appears 90 percent of the time while using the Night Mode and saving a picture. The device displays a “camera failed” error after the camera app crashes. Besides, some users have noticed the crash if their handshakes while clicking a picture, or a moving subject in the frame.

Such situations tend to happen, but the image should still be saved even if the shot is blurry. However, such an error doesn’t seem normal and the issue should be rectified as soon as possible.
