Toei has just declared on Monday about the screening of an anime. It will have first 10 minutes and 40 seconds of popular Khara Studio’s new anime film Evangelion, Shin Evangelion Gekijō-ban, on July 6.
Good news for Shin Evangelion fans:
The Japanese Expo which is expected to be scheduled and taking place in Paris. It will be portraying the video named as “Shin Evangelion Gekijōban AVANT”. The screening will be taking place at “Yoko Takahashi x Evangelion Stage” event. This video will be played as an introductory to the movie before the actual title card.

The same introductory video will also be portrayed at the Anime Expo which is to be taking place at Los Angeles and also in Shanghai. It will also be played at various places within Japan on the 6th of July.
Toei also mentioned that the anime video will also be screening throughout the world. But they did not mention where it will be available outside of those events and cities. Or it might be a case that they can be the places that will be screening the video exclusively.
Toei to release app:
Toei has also released an official statement that they will be releasing an EVA-EXTRA smartphone application for Android as well as iOS on 1st of July. This app will be made free to download. This app will be providing additional information on the “Operation 0706” projects that the screenings are part of.
The application will also be providing additional information about each and every work of the franchise, and also news. Khara Studios had mentioned in March that the recording for the dialogues had started for Shin Evangelion Gekijō-ban.

The first three movies of the tetralogy have already been released. Netflix has already started the streaming of the originals Neon Genesis Evangelion T.V. anime series. And also they have started streaming Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth and Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion.
