On social media, the people were boycotting the Air Max 1 USA shoes which were supposed to be on the shelves for $140 on Monday. Also, Nike has released a debatable statement. According to the sources, the old flag containing 13 white stars was first made in 1776 under the rule of George Washington.
Ten years back, some extremist groups took the old flag up as a symbol of slavery. The promotion of the sneakers saw a huge growth despite the backlash of media. Lastly, they have chosen not to release the new sneakers featuring the old version of the American flag on July 4th.
