FIFA Women’s World Cup 2019 Finale engulfed the world with anticipation and eagerness. As the eighth position holder Netherland awaited for their battle with US team who topped the list, the excitement in the air was almost tangible. The younger yet significantly talented Netherland lost the match and the US emerged victorious.
However, the end of Women’s World Cup brought with itself the beginning of another battle called “Equal Pay”. Commenced by Snoop Dogg this battle asks for equal pay for US women’s football team.

Snoop Dogg on US Women’s Football Team
Snoop Dogg after being centred towards Paul Gascoigne for long has now turned his attention towards more demanding issues. The US rapper has started a motion called Equal Pay solely with the purpose of serving justice to the US Women’s Soccer Team. He wishes that the women’s team shall be paid the same revenue that their male counterpart received.

Snoop Dogg took to Instagram to share his feelings regarding the matter. He posted a video demanding for equal pay because ‘Snoop Dogg says so.’ He began with the words “Food for thought” and then proceeded to make his demand. He asked his fans to shout out to the US women’s football team for their 4th victory.

However, their victory is marred because of the injustice as each player is denied their hard-earned money. Each player of the women’s soccer team will receive $90K, but each men player of the victorious team will get $500K.

Snoop Dogg asked the involved authorities to pay the ladies what they deserve, for they defended their title after much hustle. The famous US rapper said
The women should be getting $500K per athlete. Snoop Dogg says so. Them girls have won four World Cups, and £90K? Man, please. Pay them $500K per player”

Even Molly Levinson, the spokesperson of USWNT said that the tremendous equation of their 2-0 victory holds a sad end. All thanks to the unfair rating system. The players work equally hard and generate much more revenue. However, they never receive equal pay. She even said that America won’t tolerate it any longer.
Let’s see if this battle shall be resolved with women getting their rightful amount or not??
