Was it a strategy to release it on V Day?

As said by the team, this wasn’t a calculated effort, also the timing is just a coincidence. The real reason why the movie is delayed is entirely different. Paramount released the trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog some time ago and it created an outrage on the online social world.

The people were not pleased with all with the appearance of the character of Sonic. Also, the main irksome feature that ticked the people off were Sonic’s teeth. They looked like human teeth which did not gel well at all with the audience.

A sneak peek at Sonic the Hedgehog

The movie is about Sonic who is given voice by the legendary Ben Schwartz and his accomplice who is a policeman named Tom Wachowski. They are going to battle against Jim Carrey who is an evil doctor called Robotnik.

When Sonic the Hedgehog is discovered by Tom, he acts like he is just some random blue cat and goes on to say “meow: That’s where he reveals the human-like teeth.

Fowler isn’t much of a twitter person but even he had to log in to respond to the ultimate disapproval.

“Thank you for the support. And the criticism,” he wrote. “The message is loud and clear… you aren’t happy with the design & you want changes. It’s going to happen. Everyone at Paramount & Sega are fully committed to making this character the BEST he can be…”

Let’s wait for Valentines Day to see what we get.
