Elon Musk, the founder, CEO of SpaceX a space exploration company situated at Hawthorne, California. This SpaceX guided by Elon is building a space rocket known as Starship. Importantly, a place far from human exploitation in a rugged and sleepy beach side of southern California “Boca Chica”.
In 2012, SpaceX made approval from the state to buy the land and from locals consideration, they started to build the Starship. This spaceship can be first commercial to carry human from Earth by 2018, and by 2050 it could turn Mars into a human community.
SpaceX insights the road to a new development from this small village
The interesting part of this village used as a Launchpad because it’s closer to Earth’s equator and rotation can add perfect speed for the spaceship. However, getting closer to the SpaceX site and village needs sturdy efforts.
The site is almost 20 miles from Brownsville airport and a maximum of 0.1% of traffic it handles. After the airport, the situated highway 4 tearing wild and uninhabited scenery on either side. While a border checkpoint clarifies everything who uses the road.
SpaceX facility centre is situated 17 miles from Brownsville with an estimated population of 420000. However, the Stargate is a two-story billion dollar facility centre is used as a control room during launches.
A lot of people live here in Boca Chica but none are a permanent resident. Many people gaze here for the natural environment or just to watch the sunsets, migratory birds and quiet place. While the Boca Chica site also carries a state park and wildlife management area.
The company fails but they have major new plans
Prior to the fall of Falcon 9 which suffered two explosions the project stalled at that time. After that, the company made decisions to develop spacecraft to send humans in the mars. However, liquid methane stored in tanks to provide fuels for the Raptor engines.
And liquid Oxygen is used to burn the methane and Nitrogen is used to keep other liquids cool prior to launch. Thus a module is created known as Starhopper for the Mars expedition. This module will not fly to the mars else to complete hops with a maximum range of 3 miles.
