The tweet made on new Splinter Cell was probably a joke by Julian, said by an IGN representative. The creative directors are nowhere ready to make any recent announcements. A representative of Ubisoft told that the directors are just having fun.
The original report by IGN stated some different information about Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell. The franchise is planning its return. It is ace of Ubisoft. Moreover, its performance will keep up the right name of the brand.
Fan reaction to the tweet
The creative director, Julian Gerighty, tweeted,
“Working on the new #SplinterCell with @danhaynow and @romcamor in #Lyon.”
Moreover, this made the fans go gaga over the internet, and the retweets started to shoot in for the dates. Later on, Julian posted not to retweet as he said: “Ok-plz don’t retweet, I may be in trouble.” Now, this again confused the fans about the legit ability of the information.
Julian has added a twitter image giving the poster with fantastic night vision goggles from Splinter Cell. Splinter Cell was also listed in the 2018’s list of games.
The previous version of the game released by Ubisoft was Splinter Cell: Blacklist in 2013. It went viral and famous worldwide, and the fans expect the new version since then.
Splinter Cell new instalment rumours
To build the craze and suspense amongst the fans, Ubisoft added a mission segment in Ghost Recon: Wildlands, 2018. The combined mission segment resembled the theme of Splinter Cell. However, this will give the players, an idea about the upcoming newest version.
It is questionable whether to believe the tweet or not. Ubisoft is well known for giving out the leaks for the titles which are proved right.
Fans will wait for the game, and there are chances that the creators won’t let them down. Apart from this, the news from Ubisoft confirms the title “Ghost Recon: Breakpoint” by Tom Clancy. It is going to be the first title of the month’s IGN.
