Lucasfilm earlier announced that they are going to make movies in the galaxy of Star Wars that are spinoffs. Ever since then, many fans across the globe have been wanting them to focus on the movie called Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic.
And, as it turns out, their hopes may soon be fulfilled. A report has come out saying that Lucas film has brought in a new screenwriter to portray the old days back on the silver screen.
If that were to happen, fans would just be delighted and would come in full packs to watch the movie. Lucasfilm is catering to what their audiences want and it might turn out to be a success story for them.
Writers who wrote for movies like Avatar and Shutter Island have been raked in by the company. They are going to write a film based on Knights of the Old Republic which was a video game that was based 4000 years before the main story-line of the Star Wars franchise.

Sources who are in closer touch with the film production have said various things. It’s been said that Kalogridis, one of the main writers of the script is very close to finishing his first script.
This could mark the beginning of a new Star Wars Trilogy. Kathleen Kennedy who is a Lucasfilm boss also told MTV earlier that a similar project was being made.
