All of us have said ‘Our Father’ after watching the movie reading the books. Though all of his stories have fictitious they spread an eerie and nocturnal vibe and feel real.
The news is in the air that Stephen King’s ‘The Long Walk’ is to be made into a movie. It is going to be a New Line representation and directed by Andre Øvredal.
Considering the trio it is obvious that the movie is going to be lit. with a fair amount of horror and a fair amount logic. The trio has joined hands for another movie and we are expecting it to be bang on!
The people involved
Andre Øvredal has had received awards for his films in the horror genre. Andre Øvredal has won an award for his movie Trolljegeren and The Autopsy of Jane Doe. He is a cherished director at a lot of film festivals too.
The movie is the adaption of the book written by Stephen King, and writing anything about him would be like telling the world about Newton all over again. The screenplay is written by James Vanderbilt and is co-producing the movie too along with Bradley Fischer.
The Long Walk: The story
The book, The Long Walk narrates a story about a weird kind of competition. The one which can be seen in The Hunger Games and The Maze Runner. The book is written under the pseudonym of Richard Bachman in 1979. The setting is in the future with 100 boys who are competing in a competition against each other.
There are three rules to abide by and the reward of defeat is death! Each of them is the reason for the others death but this does not prevent the friendship to develop amongst them. The rules are to maintain a speed of 4 miles hour and if you receive three warnings then you are dead.
