Speedrunners will play their way through a mixed collection of retro and modern games while enjoying all sorts of amazing things.

The race against the clock will begin with Spyro Reignited Trilogy and end with Chrono Trigger. The Summer Games Done Quick will commence on 24th June 2019 and end on 30th June 2019. Running for one complete week.

SGDQ can be viewed on Twitch Channel which will have its official live-streaming. This year SGDQ has planned to raise money for Doctors without Border. The schedule for its first day is –

[ 1 ] Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project will be shown on 12:34 pm.

[ 2 ] Super Mario Bros. will be displayed at 1:24 pm.

[ 3 ] Minish Cap has secured a place in today’s list at around 5:08 pm.

Speedrunners have helped quite a number of people to understand the true meaning and motives behind their weird childhood games. It would be fun to watch how they race against the clock to keep up with their schedule.

What is the SGDQ??

For those who are planning to see this week-long semi-annual video game for the very first time, here the basic knowledge you must have. It is a charity marathon of video game speed-run which is held in the US.

The Summer Games Done Quick was initially and originally organized by Speed Demons Archive. However, since the year 2015, it is being organized by Games Done Quick, LLC. The events held are used to raise money for charities.

SGDQ is live-streamed on the Twitch channel. In the year 2018, SGDQ raised $2,263,508.19 which topped their last year’s collection by 40,000 dollars.
