Sword Art Anime is ready for war of the Underworld

The anime adaptation of Sword Art Online: Alicization will be continuing in the October month with the beginning of War of the Underworld. The franchise’s 10th-anniversary elation is still on course. Sword Art Online has released a new promo and visual for the preview of the second half of the story. Sword’s promotional video and visuals can be considered as 10th Anniversary specials.

Abema TV a streaming service streamed the video and visuals on Sunday evening. The special also presented a commercial for the Sword Art Online: Ex-Chronicle.

Tokyo’s Akihabara UDX venue will be running an interactive exhibition event from 4th of August to 18th of August. The commercial is featuring the franchise’s 10th-anniversary song “Till the end” sung by Reona.

The event place will be screening a video with a full version of the theme song. Four giant screens will be screening the theme song. The venue will also sell 10th-anniversary pamphlet with CD of the song along with exclusive goodies. Sword Art Online: Alicization streamed in Japan on 6th October. It is streaming on Hulu, Crunchyroll and FunimationNOW.

The series is an adaptation mostly of the written works of “Alicization Arc” from Reki Kawahara’s original novel. The show will air for four hours if not that it will air for four quarters of a year.

The first two parts of the show were streamed from October to March. While the second two parts called Sword Art Online: Alicization – War of the Underworld will be premiered in October. Manabu Ono is directing the anticipated anime at A-1 Pictures. Yuki Kajiura will be returning for composing the music.
