The recent footage from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker TV Spot hints that they are indeed connected. Without breaking any continuity or confusing the movie fans, the makers have found brilliant ways to incorporate the Mandalorian in the Star Wars movie universe. Here is the Mandalorian and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Disney plus connection explained and how it will act out in the future.
Mandalorian Tease in New The Rise of Skywalker Footage
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’s final trailer shows a lot of new stuff and something which caught a fan’s eagle eyes is the use of yellow laser guns. In one of the scenes, where Kylo Ren is fighting an alien beast, there is a quick glimpse of a yellow blaster shot. Just as the lightsabers are colored as per the characters in Star Wars, the yellow beamed blasters are associated with the Mandalorians.
There is also another scene where Rey, Poe, Chewie, and Finn are escaping from Stormtroopers as they chase them on jet packs inspired by the Mandalorian show. Disney wouldn’t leave a chance to insert a quick cameo of an old Mandalorian as per the timeline in The Rise of Skywalker to create hype about their new streaming service show.
Star Wars Universe is Same and Connected
Star Wars universe has always been the same and connected with all their properties including even the games and animated series. It means everything we see in the Star Wars world can be seen in other mediums and is totally cannon with the lore.
The Mandalorians exist in the Star Wars universe and Boba Fett is probably one of them. Hence, one of the Mandalorian or even the same from Disney plus show making an appearance in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker movie won’t be a big deal and create a much better experience.
