Joel Kinnaman is about to resume his role as Rick Flag in the sequel The Suicide Squad. The first film chronicled around a team of super-villains who were assigned to a dangerous mission. It premiered in August 2016 and it collected 74.68 crores USD from the box office.

Who else is expected to return in The Suicide Squad?
As per the reports, few casts are resuming their roles for the upcoming movie. Moreover, it is going to be a kind of soft reboot for the Suicide Squad franchise. Besides, Viola Davis and Jai Courtney are rumored to reprise their role as Amanda Waller and Captain Boomerang, respectively.
Even Margot Robbie is rumored to return as fan favorite Harley Quinn. However, they haven’t officially confirmed it yet. The new cast of the movie includes Idris Elba who will play as the lead character, Daniela Melchior will portray Ratcatcher while David Dastmalchian is portraying the role of Polka-Dot Man.
There are some speculations that WWE star John Cena will portray a character in the sequel. However, the sequel is set to return in August 2021.
