Fleabag had been put to an end after season 2 but it could be back for season 3. Creator and lead, Phoebe Waller-Bridge has stated that season 2 was the last season of the show. But the popularity that the show has gained recently makes Amazon want to continue the show. Fleabag is as one of the best shows out there right now. The show’s Emmy nominations this year make this pretty evident. With a total of 11 nominations, Fleabag is definitely a highly acclaimed show and the audience wants more of it. Amazon understands that wants to continue with the show with Fleabag Season 3.

Fleabag’s Story

Fleabag is a story about a young girl living in London. Her personality is a mix of very different things all woven together. The show shows how she gets through life with a messed up love life, dysfunctional family and her own personal issues.

Season 1 was more of an introduction for our titular character. Season 2 digs into findings reasons for why she is the way she is. It’s very relatable to a lot of the people in contemporary times and that’s a huge reason for the show’s popularity.

We know that Phoebe Waller-Bridge won’t be returning to Fleabag Season 3. But Amazon doesn’t want to give the show up yet. Amazon boss Jennifer Salke said at the TCA:

I’m basically her stalker.

Anything Phoebe wants to do, nothing would make us happier to bring another season of her show. Anything she wants to do. I’m forever the optimist

Though fans would want Fleabag Season 3, that does seem very difficult. Phoebe Waller-Bridge has a lot on her plate right now. She has been busy with the release of her show in different parts of the world. She also has been signed up to help write down the latest James Bond movie.
